Walt Disney World Adds Pickleball Courts as a Family Wellness Amenity
We now have an opportunity to play pickleball with Mickey and Minnie Mouse! On Tuesday, April 25th, Walt Disney World announced on their DisneyParks blog they have added a collection of new and existing resorts experiences for our overall health and well-being, including PICKLEBALL!
These resorts have officially been added to the PicklePlay app that allows pickleball fans to find the best places to play pickleball. Through our partnership, we have added these resorts as Premier Pickleball in the Sun Destinations powered by PicklePlay and we cannot wait to visit!
“We’re excited to announce that pickleball is available at several of our recreational tennis courts including Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village, and Disney’s Old Key West Resort. If you forgot your paddle at home, no worries! Each location will offer complimentary equipment for players. Haven’t heard of pickleball? Well … trust us when we say, it’s a pretty big dill! ”
